For parents struggling to decide how and when to return to travel, there is good news on the horizon, said Dr. Shruti Gohil, the medical director of infection prevention at the University of California, Irvine. “The chances of a good pediatric vaccine coming soon are high,” she said, noting that both Pfizer and Moderna are already running pediatric trials on their vaccines. In the meantime, she said, parents with children need to continue to be cautious.
Stephen Schueller, clinical psychologist and an associate professor of psychological sciences and informatics at UCI. … “They’re not good replacements for therapists yet,” said Schueller of today’s therapy chatbots. … We need to think about how we use technologies to make the work of people more efficient, wider-reaching — both geographically and culturally. But I think we see humans need to be involved for the most benefit.”
